Organizing the international voice in Danish healthcare
International Patients in Denmark (IPID) is a non-profit association helping foreign residents navigate the Danish healthcare system: guidance, advocacy, education and community so every patient receives safe, respectful, high-quality care.
Our history
Founded in 2025, out of real stories
International Patients in Denmark was founded in 2025 in response to stories of frustration and malpractice, and with encouragement from authorities in the Danish medical system to better organize the international voices within it.
The Danish medical system is organized and led by a democratically elected government. To ensure our voices are represented in the system, we must organize politically.
