International Patients in Denmark (IPID) is a non-profit association that advocates for safe, respectful and high-quality medical care for everyone who calls Denmark home—no matter where they were born or what language they speak. We connect international patients with clear information, skilled advocates and a welcoming community so they can focus on getting well, not figuring out the system.
The History of International Patients in Denmark
International Patients in Denmark a non-profit organization was founded in 2025 in response to stories of frustration and malpractice and encouragement by authorities in the Danish medical system to better organize the International voices in the Danish medical system.
The Danish medical system is organized and led by the government which is democratically elected. To ensure our voices are represented in the system, we must organize politically.
